RACINE COUNTY AND NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES
To help consumers cope with the high price of prescription drugs, Racine County is making available to any county resident a free prescription discount card.
(NACo) HELP COUNTY RESIDENTS CUT PRESCRIPTION COSTS
The cards are issued under a program sponsored by the National Association of Counties (NACo) and administered by CVS Caremark. They may be used by any Racine County resident, regardless of age, income, or existing health coverage. The cards are honored by a national network of more than 57,000 participating retail pharmacies, including virtually every pharmacy in the county.
County residents have saved an average of more than 25% over retail prices. In an average month, county residents are saving a total of over $18,000.00.
Cards are Free, and They’re Easy to Get
Using the NACo prescription discount card is easy. Simply present it at a participating pharmacy. There is no enrollment form, no application, no membership fee, and no restriction or limit on frequency of use. Cardholders and their family members may use the card any time their prescriptions are not covered by insurance. You can pick up a card at many locations in Racine County, including all County buildings, many municipal buildings, and many pharmacies.
You Can Even Print Your Own Card at Home
But you don’t have to leave your home to get one, because you can print your own card at home, simply by going to http://www.rxprintacard.biz/naco/.
