The Racine County Communications Department is responsible for communications between the public and the department. Dispatchers perform a wide variety of tasks.
The Communications Department handles the telephone requests for Law Enforcement and Fire/Rescue services for a large area of the county. Not only do the dispatchers answer requests for the services of the Sheriff's Department, but they also handle the police dispatch for the following agencies:
