The Racine County Sheriff's Department Dispatch Center is responsible for communications between the public and the department. Dispatchers perform a wide variety of tasks.

The Dispatch Center handles the telephone requests for Law Enforcement and Fire/Rescue services for a large area of the county. Not only do the dispatchers answer requests for the services of the Sheriff's Department, but they also handle the police dispatch for the following agencies:

  • Town of Burlington
    Police Department
  • Town of Waterford
    Police Department
  • Town of Norway Police Department
  • Village of Waterford
    Police Department
  • Village of Wind Point
    Police Department

The Dispatch Center also answers 911 emergency telephone calls for the following areas:

  • Village of Elmwood
  • Village of Union Grove
  • Village of Waterford
  • Town of Yorkville
  • Town of Raymond
  • Town of Norway
  • Town of Waterford
  • Town of Rochester
  • Town of Burlington
  • Town of Dover
   

The Dispatch Center also dispatches Fire/Rescue service for the following agencies:

  • Kansasville
    Fire Department
  • Rochester

The Dispatch Center acts as the communications clearing house for the Sheriff's Departments operation. Constant telephone calls for service, information requests, enormous volumes of paperwork, and tremendous demands for instant service shows how the Dispatchers play an extremely important and crucial part in Law Enforcement Services.
