The Racine County METRO Drug Enforcement Unit was created to provide a more
coordinated impact on the efforts to investigate and arrest those who engage in
illegal drug trafficking in Racine County. Federal funding is provided through
the Office of Justice Assistance.
Agencies that placed agents in the METRO Drug Enforcement Unit task force
included the Racine County Sheriff's Department, the Town of Caledonia Police
Department, and the City of Burlington Police Department.
